The
Harding
Township,
Green Village Bridle Path Association is a non-profit organization that
helps keep the bridle paths open in our
Morris
County
NJ community. This active Bridle Trail Association is for horse
enthusiasts. We promote equestrian activities like horse shows. A
network of Bridle Trails throughout the area are used and maintained by
volunteers from our organization. We are striving to maintain the rural
character of our town.
We are committed to the well-being of the horse. Fair and
friendly competitions via our Family Fun Shows and other Equestrian
events develop teamwork and sportsmanship. Our horse shows include
English and Western Pleasure classes as well as an annual Dressage Show.
Fun and friendship are part of our Association. We hold annual picnics
and
Holiday parties for our members and their families.
The Club requires volunteer involvement and support to maintain
the trails and support Fund Raising activities. Through Fund Raisers we
have raised money to overhaul the Dressage Ring on the Horse Show
Grounds, and donate to such causes as The American Red Cross,
Handicapped Riders, Equestrian Research, St. Jude's Children's Hospital
and The New Vernon First Aid Squad to name a few.
The Harding Township Green Village Bridle Path Association is
committed to safety. We provide a list of rules to all members and
publish articles in the Harding Township Civic Association Thumbnail
reminding folks about Safety of Horse and Riders on the
roads.
